The opening five holes are parkland bordered by the Margy and Carey Rivers and played around the ruins of a 13th Century Friary. The Warren area of four holes is true links and the final nine are played in an adjacent upland, giving panoramic views including Mull of Kintyre, Rathlin Island and Ballycastle Bay. Accurate iron play is essential for good scoring.
